POISE uses high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU), delivered with a slim internal probe, as a non-surgical option for women concerned about vaginal laxity, dryness, reduced sensation or light stress leakage, including changes after childbirth or menopause.

HIFU focuses ultrasound energy at controlled depths, creating tiny zones of gentle heat. The body’s natural repair response to that heat is associated with collagen and elastin remodeling, which is the basis for HIFU’s use in tissue tightening.
During a POISE treatment, the probe rotates automatically inside the vagina so energy is delivered evenly. When changes occur, they usually develop over the following weeks to months as tissue remodels, rather than all at once.
Your consultation helps sort out which concerns POISE may address and which deserve a different approach.
We review your goals, history, childbirth and menopause changes, and what matters most to you.
We check for anything that needs medical attention first, such as pregnancy, active infection, prolapse symptoms or unexplained bleeding.
If POISE is a fit, you receive a treatment plan, pre- and post-visit guidance and transparent pricing.
Published research on vaginal HIFU consists mostly of small studies with short follow-up. Some report improvement in laxity, sexual function and stress leakage, but long-term data are limited. Results vary and no specific outcome is guaranteed.
Temporary warmth, redness or sensitivity can occur and usually resolves within hours. POISE does not replace evaluation for pelvic organ prolapse, infection, pain without a known cause, or bleeding. If anything suggests a medical issue, we will recommend appropriate care.
PRIMAL Vitality offers two distinct technologies for women’s intimate wellness. They work differently, and your consultation helps decide which, if either, fits your goals.
